Filming a music video with Freya

Last week I took some footage with Freya - the new project that features a couple former Earth Crisis members (singer Karl Buechner and guitarist Erick Edwards) and some additions from defunct Syracuse rockers The Last Season.

We shot the video in a couple parts - one outdoors and another shoot in a controlled situation in the band’s rehearsal studio. The idea was to do a high energy performance video that is actually 2 videos - the song breaks down about 2/3 of the way through so we wanted to make a completely different look to the video at that point. Hopefully I will succeed in merging the two sessions together into an interesting video that grabs your attention.

Alternative Press stated in their February 2007 review that Freya?s new album Lift The Curse (Victory Records) is music that can start prison riots.
