I have been a huge Dog Fashion Disco fan since the first time we filmed them (which was also the first time I saw them live ——– if you ever saw them you know that they put on a hell of a show!). Some kickass videos came out of that performance, and a couple of later ones (watch them here: http://www.undergroundvideotelevision.com/dogfashiondisco.php ). We never got to film “rapist eyes” which is easily my favorite song by the guys but we did get “nude in the wilderness” which is close enough!
It sucked when they broke up! I didnt even get the chance to travel to their farewell show – but I deal, mainly cause I still have the CDs.
Out of the blue in April there was a myspace bulletin floating around about a new project called Polkadot Cadaver with some of the songs up on myspace. Its a project put together by former DFD members and definitly is similar to DFD in both sound and feel. There is also something new to it, and as a DFD fan Im both happy that a couple of the guys are still making music, and really into this new band! With their recent signing to Rotten Records, its looking like we will soon see a CD released as well!
