Brand New Sin at The Krockathon
Every year the local radio station in the Syracuse Area has it’s big show in the summer - the Krockathon. A few years ago they used to to a contest with local bands to pick a winner to open the show. Anyhow this even is attended by thousands, always ends up on a hot summer day and costs you $4 for a bottle of water! So now you think I’m going to do nothing but complain about it right? You are correct sir. But not what you expect I bet!
See there is this band from around here (the syracuse area) that is a National band, tours the USA and has toured the UK as well. They are on a metal and very reputable label - Century Media - home to the mighty Lacuna Coil among WAY too many others to list that are huge in the metal community abroad and worldwide. So where am I going with this?
FINALLY this year the local boys done good are on the Krockathon bill. Finally! My complaint? This took WAY too long. Want another complaint? Now that the show is over I bet krock doesn’t play their music anymore. Sad. I hope I am wrong about that one.
