Update from Bella Morte
Cruising around Myspace, I found the following update from the goth/punk band Bella Morte who just finished up a recent tour:
So we’re home, but settling in is the last thing any of us have time for right now. Last week we played seven shows in seven states in seven days and I’m already hungry to be out there again. We just received the great news that we’ll be performing at DragonCon this Labor Day weekend, and of course we still have the Blacksun Festival, Gothcoming and Gothicfest to headline over the next few months. Plus, it’s looking like October could be a very busy month for us as far as running around the US and rocking concert houses is concerned!
I always have mixed feelings when I come home from a tour. There’s of course the good, which involves seeing all my friends here in town (not to mention my two cats). But after being out for any length of time, and having life going by at a blur playing shows every night with my brothers in the band, it’s hard to make the adjustment to being stationary again. Life is so much faster on the road, so much more insane. And if you’ve hung out with us after a show, you know exactly the insanity I’m talking about. And it’s addictive, that fast, nomadic lifestyle. And sometimes I get a little down when I first arrive home, sometimes a lot. But all of it amounts to fuel for the music, for the shows. And we have an album to write right now, and great albums require pain.

Doesnt look like theyll be home long - they already have lined up a ton of shows. You can keep an eye on their other shows at their myspace, http://www.myspace.com/bellamorte. Ive always liked them, if you arent too familiar with them they are on Metropolis, the same label as MSI … so that should give you an idea!
