Advice for Attending the Warped Tour Part 1
You already know you are in for a long hot day running around right? Of course you do! Four dollar sodas and small six dollar burgers are half of what these shows are about!
The Warped Tour is unique simply due to the MASSIVE NUMBER OF BANDS PLAYING. There is no way you will be able to see everyone. The Buffalo NY show had 9 stages, a skate demo, and a wrestling demo. Getting a good idea of who you want to see before you get there is a smart plan. Don’t forget - there are also tons of vendors and record labels with cool stuff.
That’s all obvious though.
What about when you are watching you favorite band, and decide to start crowd surfing?
Let a friend hold your stuff while you do it! Why?

Thats why.
You see what is circled? Thats someone’s SS card (I photoshopped out the name etc). What’s next to it? Someone’s keys. Below that? Wallets from other people. Where is all this stuff?
It’s all under the stage! All the people crowd surfing lose stuff and then other people in the crowd throw it at the stage. The security is nice enough to move the wallets and important stuff behind a speaker so they can find the owner later. That’s REALLY nice of them considering it’s not their problem or the Warped Tour’s (they have signs about moshing / crowd surfing is at your own risk).
I feel bad for the guy getting ready to leave and wondering “where are my keys??”. After a long day like that - do you really want to wait around and find someone to help you find your keys - if they even can??

My other advice? WATCH YOUR SHOES! TIE THEM TIGHT!
Under every stage, were tons of SINGLE shoes. I didn’t say “pairs of shoes”… no… more like 20 individual shoes! How do you not notice that? Maybe it isn’t as bad as losing your wallet or keys (or SScard!!) but I guess these people have to walk around with one shoe the rest of the day?

This is a very informative site, my friends were resently vendors at the Vans warp tour, and I think it’s great you are trying to help people know what to expect.

Ok i’ve never been to Warped because i’m in the wrong country but i’ve been to the equivalent of it. DO NOT FORGET SUNSCREEN! You will be unable to sit, lie down or shower for weeks if u get burnt like i did. and ITS PAINFUL! and its gross when it starts peeling. Don’t forget have lots of water (alcohol makes you dehydrated still have it though
and food. If you are a girl put valuables in your bra( plus it makes ur boobs look bigger lol) or boys in socks or something. Wear comfortable shoes. I’d say not flip flops because if your moshing people tread on your feet and they fall off easy.
Anyways hope this help!
