Virgin Mega-Mashup - In Store Battle of the Bands
Hows it work?
- You can enter your band at any of the Virgin Megastore locations between August 20 and August 31
- After they go through and pick the best bands to compete, there will be in store performances at 7 of the stores
- Then fans get to vote at www.virginmegamashup.com , and in store from Sept 10-21; they announce the winner Oct 1
- The winner gets free travel and hotel to meet with label execs for a day (Virgin, and Immergent records)
This is different from most battle of the bands I have seen — it would drive me crazy to play, and then have no clue how I did for more than a month! The prize is decent though…
