Jon Schnepp (METALOCALYPSE) is Directing the Next Exodus Video
…and that’s awesome.
Metalocalypse is the TV show on Adult Swim following the exploits of death metal gods Dethklok. Their music is brutal, their shows are violent, and they are so popular that they can completely control their fans. The show itself has a bit of a Spinal Tap feel to it, as you can imagine. If you haven’t watched it yet - take the time out of your day to do it. You’ll be glad you did.
A few weeks ago, Exodus let their fans know they would appear on the show:
you would think being blown by 3 penthouse models and the hot one begging me to cum in her mouth and all over her face or flying in a F-14 or whatever…my dream came true yesterday…i was on a cartoon…myself and all the guys from Exodus got to be in an episode of metalocolypse…the greatest cartoon of all time…if i died today it would be all good…all the people that work there are just awesome…if you have not seen the show yet, it’s on adult swim on sunday nights on the cartoon network..and sometimes during the week it depends on adult swim and they change the shows they air from week to week….and if you have not seen it yet you fucking suck…

After that, its no surprise that today when they announce they are filming a new music video for the song “Riot Act” off their upcoming new album, the director named is none other than the director of many Metalocalypse episodes Jon Schnepp. Of course, I don’t know if it will be animated - they didn’t say. Usually I hate animated videos as I always have thought they seem to leave something out and just can’t compare to other videos. If anyone can pull one off though, it would be this guy.
Animated or not, I have the feeling this guy will have no trouble getting something on film that does Exodus right.
