First saw Throwdown at Warped in Chicago. I was walking by and heard this band that sounded like Pantera, and then noticed they got the entire crowd to do a circle pit - the entire crowd. I was like FUCK yeah, I’m going in. And fucking loved them since.

I was reading revolver issue seeing the thoughts on Dave and Max about the shows made me think.. that the band up there might get the person down below and not stand for what security or the police stand for all the time..I am the guy who for some reason has trouble at concerts and I am the safe guy unless someone fucks with me .. Just always thought it was fucked up that metal stands for something and the other assholes try to go against that. we come to pretty much have a good time and security is down some persons back. last time they took my last Jägermeister after i just got done drinking the other spilt one out of my shoe and alcohol wasnt allwoed in a metal concert that really pissed me off,it’s not easy to sneak that in a show.. another time i fell at the gate from being so drunk and then they let me in then sent the cops after me after i was just chilling having a good time. and ended up spending some time.can atleast your always on a cd unless im ready to just say fuck it anyways, because im going hammered and ready to throwdown .. even if beer cost 10$ ..

The energy they throwdown on stage is so electric it transforms the audience into one big mass of movement, and their intensity doesn’t change whether playing a stage for 100 or 1,000 people.
These photos tell a story that’s brutal and intoxicating; the brutal energy they put into their work; the genuine, intoxicating feel of a band that is truly absorbed in what they create!
This is one of those bands (imho) if you miss them, it is your loss!

I had the opportunity to see these guys in Minneapolis at Warped and it was easily the most intense pit at one of the smaller stages… When I heard “You will only need to know one word for this next song!” I don’t think I had gone so nuts at a show. It took me back to when my old band used to cover Unite, and I kinda laughed knowing that there are actually 3 words in the song. After their set, I had to sit because I was on the verge of passing out from exhaustion from the heat and the amazingly intense set. I just wished that they hadn’t been playing during KsE’s set because it hurt both… I just have this to say, I can’t wait till they make it back to the twin cities!

As soon as I learned Throwdown was playing Warped Tour, I got tickets and found a way to the show; even if the distance was 9 hours away. I saw them in Vancouver, BC. I waited for three bands to finish playing before them, just so I was guaranteed a spot in the front center. I had butterflies while waiting for them to come on stage, even thinking about it now gives me the biggest smile. I can’t even remember which song they played first, but I knew every word to every song that they did play. I had been waiting to see them for almost 3.5 years, and it was definitely not a let down. The stage performance was nothing short of passionate and raw. You know that these guys love every minute of what they do. Dave spat in my eye and I could really care less. After their set was over (boo), I went and talked to Ben for a while. I basically expressed my utmost devotion to them and that their music has gotten me through a lot of tough times. Ben Dussault, ladies and gentlemen, is possibly the chillest guy I’ve ever met. Besides being kind enough to ask my name, then remember it 2 hours later, and thanking me for coming out… let’s just say he’s easy on the eyes (Haha). I went to their signing where unfortunately Dave didn’t show up and I didn’t get a chance to meet him, but I met the rest of the dudes. Getting to see my favorite band, meeting most of them, and getting pictures and autographs led to the best day of my life: Warped Tour 07. I’ve read countless interviews with them and they make me proud to buy their stuff and support them. Honest, good hearted dudes not lacking integrity, just loving what they do. I am proud to be Drug Free.

One word for Throwdown, madness. When you see them live that’s all the fans do, lol that’s what I did a few yrs back at ozzfest when I saw them. They were great, had tones of energy and covered soulflys ” eye for an eye” perfect. I wanna see them again but I have not had the chance to, I would love to asap.
As for the photos good as shoots makes you feel as if your there. As you can see the bands performence is powerful through theses shots. Nice close up that how I like to see band pic you can see every expression

I got to see them last week for the 3rd time. It’s always a kick-ass pleasure! You can tell the difference when a band is just up there going through the motions and when they’re really feeling what they’re singing about. Throwdown is for real & they never disappoint. Throwdown’s the DEFINITION of hardcore. Vendetta was AWESOME (especially the song “Discipline”) but the new tracks on Venom & Tears are
BEASTIN.
