Led Zeppelin Schedules A Comeback Gig in London

led-zeppelin-live.jpgSo I got my wish. In a previous story I wrote regarding the rumours of a Led Zeppelin reunion tour I hoped that the band would opt for the tribute gig only and not the full on tour so that the legend would remain intact. I didn’t want to see another damned reunion gig of a legendary band going for the big cash grab and going nothing but damaging what was special once before. Hooray for them.

The website selling tickets online for the gig crashed yesterday as reportedly 25 million fans attempted to buy tickets online. I’m sure when it’s over something from it will end up on YouTube. Always does, doesn’t it?

The gig, on Monday 26 November, is in honour of Ahmet Ertegun, who died last year aged 63. He founded Atlantic records in case you didn’t know.

As rumoured the gig will feature the surviving members Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones with Jason Bonham filling in on drums for his late father.
