Random Band Alert: Get Your Guns
If you think the only thing you can find in ‘the dirty south’ is hip hop, like Three 6 Mafia from Tennesee and all those guys from Atlanta… well.. hmm… Ok you have a point. BUT there is also some great rock to be heard there too! Without even trying I remember Mastodon, Daath, Psyknyne, and The Showdown all call the hot and humid southeast their home.
Now, you can officially add ‘GET YOUR GUNS’ to that list. I happened upon this Murfreesboro, Tennessee band while playing with bulletins on myspace. In the mix, I saw a quick bulletin from GET YOUR GUNS about some new live footage they have up from a recent gig. Clicking to their page, I was blown away by the music before I even found the video!
I’m not one to attempt to describe music, so take the time and listen for yourself. You just might find the next band you’ll love:

HAHAHA im kidding.
yeah you guys are good, my friend haley thinks you guys are SUPER good despite the fact that she couldnt understand anything that was coming from the lead singers mouth.. tisha just thinks haley is obsessive and dangerous but i think they are both pretty crazy. i am about the only sane one in this whole((commenting rampage))or whatever you want to call it. yeah you guys rock haleys sox off.
