David Bowie Continues to Show Us How Badass He Really Is
David Bowie just announced that he has donated $10,000 to the legal defense fund of the Jena 6 .
If you aren’t familiar with the case, here is a quick bit of the story: Six black teens in Jena Louisiana were charged with things from attempted murder and conspiracy after a fight with a white student at their high school. Instead of being handled like most high school fights are, they were tried as adults on these very serious felonies. A lot of supporters point to the hanging of nooses on a tree where the black students hung out as starting the fight with the student. Bowie stated “There is clearly a separate and unequal judicial process going on in the town of Jena. A donation to the Jena Six Legal Defense Fund is my small gesture indicating my belief that a wrongful charge and sentence should be prevented.”

Screw David Bowie and screw the media for trying to make all of America suffer guilt for what happened in one small town in Louisiana!!!
