I can’t really get if she sings on it or what but the basic idea is that she was the executive producer of a new 3 CD collection featuring songs about history. Reno said it all began when she heard her niece’s musician husband, Ed Pettersen, play two history-inspired songs he had written.
“I was sitting there doing some work,’” Reno recalled. “And then I found I was listening to him and this song — I couldn’t figure out what it was about. When he told me, it came alive.’”
They couldn’t find too many other history inspired folk songs, and instead decided to make their own…
