Fans File Class Action Lawsuit Against Aerosmith
You buy tickets to a concert, it gets canceled - you get your money back. That’s the end of the story right. You might be disappointed, but these things happen.
 Unless you are an Aerosmith fan in Hawaii! About a dozen or so, so far have signed onto the class action lawsuit seeking damages for travel costs (and who knows what else) after the band had to cancel a gig out there in order to play a much larger show in Chicago.
How can you sue a band you like so much that you bought airfare to go see them in Hawaii? YOU STILL GET TO GO TO HAWAII! geez…

To hell with Aerosmith then. I mean I personally detest listening to them, but still give them respect for making it as far as they have. But now that respect dwindles to a useless pile of shit, when they decide to shit on their loyal fans who have paid large amounts of cash, just to see them. So I’ll jump on any wagon that decides to use a chain and drag all of Aerosmith’s members to their death. These guys have piles of money beyond count, and still decide to go for the larger concert. So fuck you Aerosmith.

Justin, to hewll with your respect, Im quite sure they do not want ytour respect anyway. Dont you know that the tour manager is responsible here? Thats the person who sets dates and cancels whatever is cancelled. Dont hold the band resposible. And dont pretend to be a worthy fan like Justin here. Aerosmith rules.

These so called fans should be more creative. I would have organized an e-bay auction or raffle for all of those plane tickets. They would have gotten their money back in no time and they wouldn’t have to pay lawers!

This sounds like a story about 1-2years ago, where a fan paid for air-fare, hotel room, & a ticket to see The Rolling Stones, in Atlantic City , The show was cancelled cuz Jagger was sick, The lady tried to sue for several millions… come on, giving the benefit she might of spent roughly $1,000.00, Where did she get tryin to sue for millions ( might of been 50 million ) for damages. She didn’t get shit!! I hope she paid Lawyer & court fees, & she probably tried to sue for those damages….

areasmith suck, and they bombed on fans to play a bigger show, and no the tour manager makes sure it all flows smoothly of course the band has a say in cancelling shows etc i know as i am in a band on thirty days of night records so i tour a LOT.

Yes they have lots of money, but everyone wants more. Can you blame them. Yes it sucks. But as far as being a fan shit happens get over it. As far as people who think they suck live you are fucking crazy. I have been to many concerts in my life. And they were like top 3 on the live shows list. So I don’t thing you guys know what the fuck you are talking about.

i got screwed out of an iron maiden gig in AZ for the same reason. they played in san diego instead of the little shit bar by my house (electric ballroom). I bought tix and i dunno if i got money back but i was pissed. 6cryptic6curt6

You can sue to get the ticket money back, but for the plane tickets and stuff, you have to take that up with the agencies in charge of that. And Aerosmith was probably unaware of the change until their management agency told them they were not going to Hawaii.

No matter what they cancelled a show to play a better show. Thats just as wrong as the peeps sueing them. I’m sure they have enough dough to pay up seeing they’ll make alot at the Chicago show. No winners with this one.

Before sticking your middle finger out the car window and getting it shot off like here in California. Consider that they may not have been responsible for the cancellation. Also, I do believe they are not big enough dicks to not help those people out or get another show lined up. I am sure thye will do whatever necessary to please the fans. This is their job and the customer is always right, no matter how much of an asshole the customer is.

Wow. Real dumb - on all accounts. Shows get cancelled. Big Deal. Who cares why it was cancelled? It’s noone’s business but the band’s. In response to Joe: Tour managers are pee-ons. They do what the band says. My tour manager has nothing to do with booking shows. In response to Tom: “might of”? It’s “might have”. Read a book instead of the internet once in a while.
Aerosmith does not suck balls you just don’t like their music. Give some credit to guys who write hit songs for 30 years unlike YOU.
