Did You Know Buckcherry Lead Vocalist Josh Todd Had A Solo Album?
April 22nd, 2008 by BaconstripDid you know that the lead singer for Buckcherry, Josh Todd, did a solo album? Well if you didn’t I highly suggest you check it out. Of course since it’s reformation Buckcherry has had mega success mostly due to their vulgarity-laiden white trash anthem “Crazy Bitch” – more power to them and I’m sure they’ll continue to have a good run with more radio friendly material.
Of course this is only my opinion – but – I thought the solo album Josh Todd did entitled “You Made Me” was far superior both lyrically and musically to the latest Buckcherry material. What is lacked however was a well crafted groove driven sing along smash hit. OK I’ll be more blunt – it didn’t have a radio friendly complete with beeps & edits of the bad words that, when jammed down your throat enough times, appealed to the mass stupid listening radio audience. Was I too harsh? Perhaps. *lol* I try to keep it positive most of the time but couldn’t help it this time. Shoot me!

yep i worked with them when i did the texas leg of there tour with edgewater,and defalt right before the cd came out…. his solo stuff is 1000 times better than anything buckcherry ever put out, plus hes a hell of a nice guy… dont beleve any of the hype… hes not an asshole. pluss kat who played on the cd, is also buckcherrys tour manager.

Yeah – when this was filmed at the now closed BLEACHERS in syracuse ny, he was the coolest guy at soundcheck – really respectful – thankful – and REALLY knew his stuff from an engineers point of view. My friend mixed the show yo… I really like this solo stuff he did – and he’s a really great singer. Josh is the real thing
