This guy may be fast but what he’s playing sounds dumb and has an inflection level of zero. While I respect what he’s doing, this isn’t something that somebody should “quit” over.

And when you get to a certain speed it all sounds like buzzing so its really pointless to go that fast
god damn. he almost doubles his bpm ( beats per minute ). jesus fucking christ, this guy makes michael angelo batio look like a fucking kid. i give this guy props on his speed and technique.

ya know….when this video is completely forgotten in the next month, Jimi Hendrix will still be world renowned and remembered for being sloppy and slow. But then again, I think its playing with heart and soul that matters when it comes to performing on a guitar. As Impressive and skillful as that was, it reminded me of someone getting ready to paint your portrait with a digital camera. Think about that one. Peace!!

That was pretty cool but I’ve seen Manowar’s bassist Joey Demaio play the same thing on BASS!!! – it’s on Manowar’s 1988 Kings of Metal album retitled “Sting of the Bumblebee.” Manowar also hold the record as the world’s loudest band. Obviously this guy is a Manowar fan. And for those who don’t get or question the speed record thing, the answer is the same answer you get from asking people why they climb the highest mountains or drive a car as fast as possible or stand in front of a charging bull… Think about it, people always want to do what hasn’t been done yet or at the very least do it better or faster or more insanely than before. And in my opinion, it’s human nature at it’s finest – completely the fuck insane! Rock on!

Regardless of how pleasant it is to listen to, I stand in awe of the level of discipline and dedication it took him to get to that level. So it took him sitting in his room practicing for 20 years to pull it off. At the end of it, he accomplishes a personal goal. How many of us quit when it gets too hard? Speed is only one part of anything musically.Just because your fast doesn’t mean you can put out music that’s worth a fuck.Still , fast is good.
