“Gustav” Synonymous With “Karma”?
The Republicans are getting some deserved karma with Gustav set to hit the coast of Lousiana on Monday evening or early Tuesday morning during the GOP convention.
This is what McCain and Bush were doing during the landfall of Hurricane Katrina:
Maybe we’ll get some more awesome photos of the Republicans partying at their convention while the coast of Louisiana or Texas gets ravaged by a strong hurricane.

Umm… that’s not karma. At best, it might be an unfortunate coincidence.
At worst, it could be a devastating blow to a still recovering Gulf Coast that could end up gong one of two ways: being blatantly used in hopes of political gain or ignored/underfunded in recovery efforts/blamed on the residents themselves/etc. Again.

karin you are spot on. all the money the residents got from the government to re-build… the vast majority were black btw and what did they do with that money? they bought expensive cars and bling, bling… the vast majority of them left and flooded texas and other states… those homes and neighborhoods are still devastated as nagin gets a free pass and the media lets them blame bush…
