Interview With Tera Wray Static

To some Tera Wray Static is a girl that keeps you entertained on those late nights when you’re all alone. Strutting her stuff and making adults learn a thing or two about having some great sex and fulfilling a woman’s every desire, while she was a contract girl for Pleasure Productions.
The first time I heard of her was when I saw her arm and arm with probably the hottest metal front man out there Mr. Wayne Static of Static-X. Now the hot married couple are gearing up for some amazing endeavors together, along with her feature role in the new video for STATIC-X “STINGWRAY”.
I had the pleasure of getting to know a little more about Tera as she was sweet enough to answer some candid questions about her love for Porn, how she met Wayne and what her future holds.
AT A YOUNG AGE YOU WANTED TO BE AN ADULT FILM STAR WHAT INTRIGUED YOU ABOUT THAT CAREER PATH?
Well I started watching girl/girl porn when I was little and I thought it was really beautiful and it was totally different than anything I was used to. I honestly think that I started saying it as a joke when I was younger and then I was serious but nobody took me seriously after maybe 10 years of saying it so I had to prove them all wrong.
AT THE AGE OF 17 YOU FOUND OUT YOU HAD OVARIAN CANCER. HOW DID THAT AFFECT YOUR LIFE GOALS AND HOW YOU LIVE YOUR LIVE DAY TO DAY?
It hasn’t hurt things and my life would have been different for example I would have not quit fast pitch softball and would have then moved to play softball for the University of Miami then I would have been on the Olympic team. But I like my life that I have now, if it had never happened I might not be married to the most incredible and talented man in the universe, Wayne Static.
YOU CONTACTED PLEASURE PRODUCTIONS, WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS PRODUCTION COMPANY?
I was working 14 to 17 hour days as a corporate trainer at Hooters and one night these guys came in. They happen to be the owners of my favorite adult store and I was like fuck it “How do I get into porn?” They were shocked but they told me that the distributing company they got all there stuff from also had a production company. I had heard of this company because of their contract girls like Gina Lynn, Nikki Benz, Krystal Steal and I figured that if these girls all did well I would too. And don’t forget the owners of Pleasure also own the largest international distributing company for both movies and toys so I didn’t think I could go wrong. I was also the only contract girl so all the press and attention for the company was going to be all me.
DID THEY LET YOU HAVE A LOT OF FREEDOM TO DO “DIFFERENT” SCENARIOS AND LET YOU WORK WITH PEOPLE YOU WANTED TO?
I didn’t really know any guys when I started, I remember them asking me what guys I wanted to work with and I told them I didn’t really know any because I always watched girl porn. I didn’t really care in the beginning I just wanted to be famous. I did get my way with working with my favorite director Matt Zane. After I met Wayne, Matt was really cool about letting me do just girls and having Wayne come down to the set to watch.
THE SEX ACT AS YOUR PARTNER GETTING A TATTOO, I HEARD IT WAS A FIRST IN THE INDUSTRY AND DID YOU COME UP WITH THIS CONCEPT? WAS IT DUE TO THE WHOLE PLEASURE AND PAIN ASPECT OF IT?
I have always wanted to fuck while getting a tattoo. A tattoo gun is like a vibrator in a way, I not saying I like needles on my pussy but it does send vibration to all your parts. Matt Zane and I both made this happen we have 3 in the series to prove it.

You can’t care about what anybody else thinks, there is always going to be people that either love you or hate you, it is a fact of life. You can’t make everybody happy but you can make yourself happy and that is all that matters. Be who you want to be.
AFTER 2 YEARS IN THE INDUSTRY YOU DECIDED TO RETIRE. WHAT MADE YOU GIVE IT UP?
I know most people don’t know this but as a contract porn star you spend more time flying to a different city for promo than u do actually shooting porn. I would shoot an average of 2 scenes a month and the rest of the time I was traveling, I was TIRED! I got married to Wayne in Vegas during the AVN Awards week and after a month and my company not respecting Wayne or myself and trying to make me shoot a scene with a guy I wasn’t happy and couldn’t take it any more so in Feb of 2008 I took a 6 month leave before finally deciding I wanted to retire.
YOU GREW UP IN LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY-YOUR BEST MEMORY OF LIVING THERE AND WOULD YOU EVER GO BACK?
I actually grew up in Breckinridge County, Kentucky. It’s close to Louisville and I lived in Louisville for 5 or 6 years. Nobody knows where Breck. Co. is so I used to tell people Louisville. Anyways my best memory would probably be the summer when I was 14 and my two best friends would sneak out with me every single night until about 5am. One night we went to the high school and broke into all the school buses and stole all the fire extinguishers in them then we set them all off at the football field. You could see a big white cloud for miles.
ANOTHER NOTCH IN YOUR RESUME IS WORKING WITH MATT ZANE AND SOCIETY 1. WHAT WAS YOUR MAIN ROLE IN THIS PROJECT AND HOW DID YOU GET INVOLVED WITH HIM?
My former boss is who introduced me to him because he thought we would be a perfect fit for the movies. I became Matt’s muse. I did everything he did even working with him on his own projects that were not so much porn related like him picking me up and twirling around with me while he is suspended by 4 hooks in his back. WHILE WITH MATT AND HIS SHOW, DID YOU DO BAND INTERVIEWS AND IF SO WHAT WERE SOME OF THE COOLEST BANDS YOU TALKED TO?
I got to interview “Ill Nino” and those guys are really funny I’m not sure if I ever did ask them any serious questions cause we were joking around so much but music is fun so interviews should be too. I also got to interview my favorite and probably only chick singer I like, Maria, from “In This Moment”. I got to see them everyday on Ozzfest and she was so hot in her cute little dresses and holding her boobs while banging her head and then she can fucking scream, you have to love that.
BEING A METAL GIRL AND BEING MARRIED TO WAYNE STATIC DID YOU EVER FANTASIZ E ABOUT MR. STATIC BEFORE YOU KNEW HIM AND WHAT STATIC SONG GOT YOU GOING?
It all started 10 years ago when I first saw the ”Push It” video, his hair and beard and face and everything was so hot. I love all his songs and they all get me going. I will be fantasizing about him until the end of time even though I have him everyday. It’s good when you feel that way about someone.
ON A SERIOUS NOTE MEETING WAYNE ON OZZFEST IN 2007 WHEN DID YOU GUYS REALIZE IT WAS THE REAL DEAL? AND HOW DID HE PROPOSE TO YOU?
I think we both realized it when we were separated the first time. He had to go play a show in Houston and I was in Dallas already with 2 days off before the Dallas Ozzfest show. We talked on the phone for hours and hours and neither of us like talking on the phone he ended picking me up really early in the am before the Dallas Ozzfest show and said I was not allowed to leave his bus any more unless I was working. I had no objections so I rode the rest of the tour with him.
One night during the week of Christmas 2007 I was half a sleep on our huge couch and he told me that if he believed in marriage he would marry me and I told him I felt the same about him. Then January 2008 we were in Vegas and late one night at the club Tao out on the balcony and he said “let’s just go get married right now” and I was like are you serious! So we went to the little white chapel and got a DVD to remember and share the special occasion with our families. I couldn’t have imagined it any better.
SEEMS LIKE YOUR LIFESTYLES WOULD MESH WELL AND WE ALL KNOW THE STEROTYPICAL THOUGHTS ABOUT BANDS ON THE ROAD. HOW DO YOU HANDLE BEING MARRIED TO A GUY IN THE BAND AND IS TRUST THE THING THAT HOLDS ANY RELATIONSHIP TOGETHER?
We are inseparable!!! I will be on the road with them at every show. When we meet I was their shot girl and I still will be but this time I am going to have another role in the stage show but you have to come to the show to find that out. But I like girls and I like sharing my husband with a cool hot chick. It wouldn’t be fair to just make him watch. Whoever said twos company but threes a crowd never had a threesome obviously. Trust is important but true love is what holds it together.
NOW THAT YOU’RE MARRIED AND OUT OF THE INDUSTRY WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS AND VISIONS OF YOUR FUTURE?
I am working on my own clothing line right now inspired by my husband called “Static Killer”. It is a girl clothing line that will hopefully be in stores for summer. It has a very girlie vampire Japanese punk feel. I want to keep growing with this company in the future by branching out into men clothes and shoes and so much more.

IF THERE WAS A MOVIE DONE ABOUT YOUR LIFE WHAT WOULD IT BE CALLED AND WHO WOULD YOU WANT TO PLAY YOU?
“Schizophrenia” I would want Angelina Jolie to play me not because I think we look alike but I think she is the only female actress that could play my craziness to a tee.
YOUR ROLE MODEL AND WHY?
Wayne Static is and honestly no words could really explain it. He is the most talented person I know but he never lets anything go to his head. Every song he creates inspires me and gets my own creative juices flowing.
HOW DO YOU KEEP IN SHAPE?
I have crazy sex with my husband every night and I stop eating before I fill like I’m going to explode.
WHAT DOES YOUR TATTOO MEAN?
The one on my stomach is suppose to mean “Southern Comfort” but I’m not so sure if it does any more I’ve had so many different people tell me different things but I guess it is whatever I want it to be so Southern Comfort it is.
I have two new ones that Wayne also got. They are both on the inside of our wrist. One is Konji and means ”Eternal Love” and the other one is our two zodiac symbols intertwined. I’m an Aries and he is a Scorpio.
WHAT DO YOU WANT THE WORLD TO KNOW ABOUT THE TERA WRAY OF THE PAST AND THE TERA WRAY OF NOW?
I’ve never been to big on the past and I am who I am the only difference now is that my name is legally TERA WRAY STATIC and I believe I truly have the greatest life in the universe.
