Metallica ‘In Their Own Words’ Documentary
April 14th, 2009 by BaconstripAs part of the network’s coverage of METALLICA’s induction into the Rock’n'Roll Hall Of Fame Fuse went to Manchester, England to document METALLICA’s true feelings up close and personal, about what it means to receive rock’s greatest honor. In just a few words, frontman James Hetfield shared his thoughts: “When you hit the stage and start playing and you look them in the eye, dude, it’s over, man!!! That’s the ultimate drug, the ultimate dream, the ultimate feeling, and we are addicted to it.”
I had a big ass smile on my face through the vast majority of that doc. Thanks. It reminded me of why I got into this music in the first place. Say what you want about Metallica, they will always be one of the truly great bands of all time.
Well… The video isn’t playing, good for metallica, glad Deathmagnetic is heavy, Glad they performed with Jason Newsted, that was a good thing to see, he needed that more than anything.
As for the video, I guess I’m not lucky enough to be able to watch it!! F.U.C.K!!
