Holland’s FaceCulture recently conducted interviews with vocalists Cristina Scabbia and Andrea Ferro of the Italian rock/metal band LACUNA COIL.
According to Hits Daily Double, the companion web site of music industry tip sheet HITS, LACUNA COIL‘s new album, “Shallow Life”, is on track to move between 20,000 and 25,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release.
LACUNA COIL‘s previous CD, “Karmacode”, opened with just under 34,000 copies back in April 2006 to land at No. 28 on The Billboard 200 chart. It has since sold more than 200,000 units in the U.S.
The band’s 2002 album, “Comalies”, has sold more than 300,000 copies in the United States, according to Neilson Soundscan.
“Shallow Life” was released in the U.S. on April 21 via Century Media Records. The CD was recorded in September/October at NRG Studios in North Hollywood, California with producer Don Gilmore, who has previously worked with LINKIN PARK, TRAPT, AVRIL LAVIGNE, GOOD CHARLOTTE, THE VERONICAS, PEARL JAM, TRUST COMPANY and DURAN DURAN.
